My path in philosophy, inspired by Carl Jung's concept of individuation, led me to work in a local shelter, where I learned about the complexities of human struggle. Realizing the boundaries of the conventional approach, I embraced Brainspotting, which, when combined with the Jungian process of individuation—becoming an indivisible one—enables profound self-exploration through both reflection and somatic practices. This involves confronting and integrating the Shadow, harmonizing the unconscious aspects of the Self. By using Brainspotting, we access these hidden parts, fostering a journey towards wholeness. My appreciation for nature and arts shapes my work, offering a holistic view that guides individuals to realize their potential and authenticity.

By using a client's eye position to locate what we call a "brainspot," Brainspotting taps into this instinctive survival system. This direct access also engages the autonomic nervous system and limbic system — the emotional and regulatory centers of the brain — allowing the body to process stored trauma, overwhelm, or dysregulation at a deep, subcortical level where words and conscious thought alone often can’t reach.
This is why Brainspotting can feel so grounding, especially for people who’ve been overstimulated by more active interventions. It respects the natural rhythm of your healing process. Sessions unfold at your own pace, with the nervous system gently leading the way.
